That’s why I’m going to be a Cub Scout.

Scout Me In

Cub Scouting...

• Nurtures leadership and character growth
• Strengthens families
• Helps boys and girls develop interests and skills
• Provides adventure
• Creates fellowship
• Promotes diversity
• Teaches duty to God and country
• Is FUN!

A research study by Tufts University showed that more
time spent in Scouting results in better character development.

Scout Oath

On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Scout Law

A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful,
friendly, courteous, kind, obedient,
cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean,
and reverent.

Vision

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Escape to the Great Outdoors

A Message From Our Cubmaster

Matt Podwika
Pack 318 welcomes not just the scout, but the whole family, to join us in creating great citizens through our program. We focus on service to our community, getting outdoors, and building a family within our Pack. All scouts will have opportunities to camp, hike, fish, ride bikes, swim, and participate in many other activities. Our Dens will meet in small groups for Scout Sundays to complete adventures to earn their next rank. Each month, our Pack will meet to celebrate the scouts accomplishments for the month prior and complete fun activities together. Our pack leadership team works hard to plan a rich experience for our scouts and their families.
The life lessons learned here not only transform today’s Cub Scouts into tomorrow’s Scouts BSA members but also help form a foundation to embrace opportunity and overcome obstacles in life.

The cub scout motto is to 'do your best'.  That's what we ask of our scouts, and what the pack leadership promises to you, the parents, about our commitment to provide a safe and fun activity for your boys and girls.
